1. Participant-lead Discussion/Course Facilitation (20 points)l Student will be responsible for leading the whole class on the assigned readings or group of readings about the weekly topic (based on chapter and additional article assignments, which will be posted on below—see course schedule). Student will lead with a power point the assigned chapters reading
The success of the ensuing discussion will ultimately depend upon the extent of your classmates’ participation. Therefore, as discussion leader, you will need to prepare a set of
1.guiding discussion questions that link the content of the article to your own practice as a professional (whatever your field may be) and your own personal pedagogy.

2.You must also introduce your discussion a jam board in a break out room via zoom with picture with a short activity – if you choose to – that will pique the interest of participants to discuss and engage with the readings for that week.
3.Since the success of your discussion is based on participation of the rest of the class, you will need to post your questions on the discussion board no later than the Tuesday morning before you lead the discussion (one day before). This will allow the rest of the class to download your questions and reflect on their own reading before the class meeting. I will also post general guiding discussion questions for any articles that students will not be covering.
