Assignment 2: After watching the Thematic Transformation presentation, please consider these two questions:
The Christ Theme represents the character of Christ. What is similar between the first two film clips? Consider what is happening in each scene when you hear the Christ Theme and think about why the director wanted to make a connection between these two scenes. (Minimum 1 sentence)
The third and last movie scene occurs just after Christs tomb is found empty and the women shown are rejoicing in the belief that he has been resurrected. How does the Christ theme change from earlier? Describe differences in the music–speed, loudness, intstruments, mood, etc. Is there anything about how the theme has transformed that helps to emphasis the mood of this scene? In other words, how does this version of the Leitmotif go with what is happening in the story? (Minimum 2 sentences)
