Due: WEEK 11, Friday 25th May 2018 by 11:59 pm
Weight: 40%
Word Limit: 4000 (does not include template wording)
Individual Assignment
Task Description: Part A
Provide answers to the questions that draw from the set text – Agile Practice Guide. The questions are in the template which is to be
downloaded from Canvas.
Task Description: Part B
Provide an extensive plan for the delivery of a project based on a scenario. This plan will demonstrate your deeper understanding of how to
design the delivery of a project based on the topics being covered this semester as well as broader reading.
You will be provided with a template with major headings. The assignment is a business document and the style of writing needs to be
suitable, professional but brief.
You are free to nominate your own scenario or you may choose one from the list below:
• Convert a veterinary surgery from being fully paper based to being as paperless as possible within a year. Appointments, stock, billing,
consultation notes, pathology requests and results should all become electronic.

• A remote community in the Northern Territory becomes isolated for at least a week after only moderate rain fall. They lose
communication, no access to food or medical supplies and are not able to move cattle stock to fresh feeding grounds. Deliver a project
that addresses both the immediate issues and greatly reduces the likelihood of it occurring so frequently in the future.
• A local high school has an excellent education and enrichment program that has been achieving some excellent results for students
with special needs. Unfortunately, the school now has a very long wait list and they are not able to cater to the high demand. The school
wants to make their program repeatable so other schools can achieve the same sort of results. They need your assistance to undertake
a project to have other schools run a similar program.
• A major investor has bought five different companies across the Asia Pacific region. All five companies use different enterprise IT
systems for things such as financial management and human resource management. Your project is to amalgamate all of these five
companies into one and to rationalise (streamline) the number of software applications being used.
Criteria Part A: Student responses will be assessed according to:
• Clarity and accuracy of the responses
• Written expression, suitability of language for the purpose and audience of the documents.
