Section 1: 5 pages: You will prepare a detailed brand audit and situational analysis for Kellogg’s.
Please separate into main headings of “Brand Audit” and “Situation Analysis”. Within each, please organize as far as possible into relevant sub-headings .
Under Brand Audit consider including a time line (or sorts) – a visual representation – of key points in the brand’s evolution along with some major innovations/extensions.
Under Situation Analysis – please include a clear discussion of SWOT. It will help if you included a Table/Exhibit highlighting the key things under each. Remember the SWOT is for the brand and not for the company as a whole.
Finally, please remember that the focus is on the Kellogg’s brand and not the whole company. So, you do not need to go onto all the other companies/brands that were acquired, etc.
Section 2: 1 page: Looking at the Situation Analysis done,  generate at least 2 ideas for a BRAND (not line) Extension, a new product under the same brand name, but in a category in which the specific brand currently does not have any.
