Being in positions of leadership or management can be very complicated. Not everyone is happy with their job all the time. Often, lack of motivation originates not from one specific instance but a combination of circumstances. Using the theories of motivation, consider this scenario:
SCENARIO: The employee Sandra says that she isnt motivated at work. She tells you that her home life is not the best and that she isnt making enough money in her current position. She tells you that shell be happy if you can give her a raise or if you can promote her to the job that was just announced last week.
