Complete an Old and New Testament word study on the topic of counseling, researc

Complete an Old and New Testament word study on the topic of counseling, researching instances in the Bible where counseling has occurred. Counseling today has become much more formal, and while more formal forms of counseling can be found in scriipture, the majority of what will be found are informal moments of support, encouragement, and accountability.
Choose a variety of words that describe the process or ingredients of counseling and research their Greek/Hebrew origin and determine where they are found in scriipture. For instance, words such as counsel, inspiration, intercession, wisdom, support, etc.

Write a 1-page journal entry that presents your findings in a casual, conversational style of journal writing. Comment on important scriiptures that speak to counseling. Conclude with a paragraph on why it is so important to have scriipture memorized and “ready to go” when you are in counseling situations. Often it is only the “Word of the Lord” that can bring support and healing.
Keep in mind that information you gathered from this activity will be used in the synthesis paper for this week.
