Southside Hotel needs a better cleaning management system. They are soliciting the help of aninternalcommittee of key stakeholders and an external business analyst to come up with a solution to presentat the next meeting.Currently, they have a paper-based system. The process is:1. When a guest checks out, the front desk staff member writes the room on a paper list to becleaned.2. Cleaners come to the front desk to check which rooms need to be cleaned. They write theirinitials beside the ones they will clean.3. When the cleaner is done cleaning their rooms, they go back to the front desk, and check offthe rooms that they cleaned.4. Rooms need to be verified by the cleaning supervisor before allowing new guests to enter.Before check-in time, the supervisor takes the list and checks all completed rooms.5. The front desk staff can then assign those rooms to new guests.This system is not working.
