This is a sample list and you are not confined to just these topics. There are a variety of issues related to each of the above topics that can be addressed in your presentation.
Your PowerPoint should include the following sections:
Define the problem related to your topic: What are current issues or concerns related to the issue you wish to discuss. You want to introduce the topic to the reader as if they do not have any knowledge of this topic.
Literature Review: What has been written in the literature on this topic? This section should be organized by theme and not a list of each article.
What are Possible Solutions?: What are underlying concerns that have resulted in the issue you discuss? What are possible solutions to improving in this area. In this section you might states solutions and provide examples from currently running programs.
I do not expect the final paper to be completed/written at the time the PowerPoint presentation. You can consult the text but should also include at least 3 academic sources No public media sources will be accepted for this or the final presentation. All sources should be government sources or current literature/research found in the library.
Your PowerPoint presentation should include at least 8 slides of narrative (this does not include cover slides and reference slide). Think of it as an 8-10- minute presentation. Please include citations as you use them throughout your presentation. You can include audio or provide written narrative below the slide in the notes section.
If you choose to use the notes, please make sure that you are thorough in your discussion of the slide (a minimum of 100 words per slide). The presentation should be submitted as a PowerPoint and not PDF; otherwise, it will not be possible to read the narrative portion of the slides. Submissions without visible narrative will be considered incomplete.
