Thesis how Hatshepsut legitimize her rule through this art.
It fit in to the debate of the art and politic, how art is used as a tool to convey political message
especially she is a female pharaoh, but the statue portray her as male pharaoh, so i guess i could talke about how this statue convey her political power and authority during her reign. And I remember the met website talks about there is a feminine air that she added to the statute,so i could write the role art plays in challenging the gender norm and the attempt she made to reshape the perceptions of female leadership
ALSO add some scholarly sources that explore the gender role and identity during her period!!! Cuz perception of modern day gender coule be DIfferent from ancient gender perceptions!!!!!
, also talk about cultural and religious symbolism. Cuz there r hieroglyphs inscriiption, and i haven’t look into detail about it but i think it is also associated with the cult of hathor. Which is the goddess closely associated with her. talke about the iconography especially reliougs symbolism on the statue and how it helps the understanding of the whole the religious narrative and cultural belief under her rule and we could see how she legitimize her rule through this statue
Include at least 10 scholarly sources!!!!
