Let’s say you’re working with a team of 20 senior students (some from graphic design, some from computing, and some from education) from your university and from a partner university located in California to develop software to help middle school students practice math. (Or to let elementary students showcase their art–you choose). There are two partner grade schools for piloting this software–one local and one in California. It’s a 9-month long project: Aug – May.

Create a communication plan for the project scenario described above. Follow the example of the communication plan in Exhibit 4 of the reading “The impact of a strong communication strategy…” at https://www.pmi.org/learning/library/communications-strategy-complex-program-work-6639 .
<
<
First, list stakeholders (at least 10). Label each as project team or external.
<
<
Next, create the plan, based on the sample communication plan . You should have at least 15 rows in your plan. Be sure to include the last two columns – why they need to know and what is expected as a result of the communication.
<
<
Then, for each row, add a short justification to the channel/tool selection to describe why this channel/tool is the most appropriate way to communicate this information.
<
<
Finally, research the topic of body language and facial expression in communication. Write a couple of paragraphs on how this knowledge could be useful to a project manager or team member when communicating with others.
<
<
You can do the table in a spreadsheet or other document, but submit the total exercise as a PDF (with the table embedded).
