Each year the Super Bowl football game on TV runs the most expensive ads in the world. It costs almost 7 million dollars to purchase 30 seconds of advertising time during the game. In addition, most of the ads cost several million dollars to produce. This means that if youre a company advertising for 30 seconds on the Super Bowl, you want to not only make a splash, but you want to make your adand your product/brandstick.

- Please read the articles on the links below and spend extra time to understand and digest the information. It is a quick summary of the book called Made to Stick. A good one! And has excellent examples. You can read the whole book if you want to learn about sticky! Ads.
- Watch the ads (all of them) that aired during the Super Bowl 2024. You have some sample links below. Please watch all ads with a critical eye and answer the questions below. I will ask some questions about random ads during the discussion in the classroom.
After people watch an ad, at best they will remember only one thing about that ad. Indeed, most people will quickly forget most of the ads that aired during the Super Bowl. The goal of a well-connected sticky ad is to make sure that the one thing that people might rememberthe most memorable aspect of the adis clearly connected to the product/brand/idea that is being advertised.
