Organisation:
Purposeful sequencing of plot structure regardless of chronological order. Skilful use of transitions and paragraphing adds clarity to the plot structure.
Grammar/Mechanics:
There are no errors in grammar or spelling or punctuation or capitalisation.
Remember:
Para 1 Introduction- Bold beginning (dialogue, onomatopoeia, question, snapshot setting, snapshot character, foreshadowing). Para 2 Rising action- What occurs before the climax- actions, situations, and changes that take the characters to the big turning point in the story. Para 3 Climax- The big moment of the story. Conflict or tension reaches the highest point. Para 4 Falling action- How things work out (or do not work out). Para 5 Conclusion- Surprise ending, wise thought, a question, a sign of what’s to come, a laugh on reflection.
