Part 1 1 page
Students should watch the documentary, then discuss the ways in which the documentary applies to topics we have discussed in class. Students may not select a docudrama (this must be a serious, legit documentary). This discussion should be roughly one page in length (double spaced, a standard academic font).
Part 2
Death Penalty 1/2 page
1. For this activity, you will research a topic related to the administration of the death penalty in the US.
2. Choose a topic related to the death penalty (examples include lethal injection, women, racial/ethnic minorities, cost, intellectual disability)
3. Research this topic using reliable and valid sources
1. Such as:
* Academic databases (i.e. Academic Search Premier or JSTOR);
* Recently published materials (last 10 years or so)
* Government and educational websites (. gov, . edu)
* Materials from Google Scholar
4. Discuss what you have learned.
* Your response should be at least half a page in length.
5. A link to your source and/or a formal citation should be included. 
Terms to be used are attached for the fist part of analysis of documentary. Some terms must be incorporated into the analysis.
