Annotated Bibliography Instructions
Your final project has a few components to it: the proposal (a simple few words to me telling me
what you’re going to research), the annotated bibliography, and the video presentation.
For the annotated bibliography, you need to locate 5-7 quality, scholarly sources. I encourage you
to use the CSU East Bay library- we have access to an incredible amount of peer-reviewed
materials! If you are unsure (or even just need a reminder) about how to navigate the online
library, please do reach out, as this is something we can talk about in class!
Once you figure out which pandemic disease you want to research, read and compile your
resources. Your annotated bibliography is a useful tool. First list the bibliographic data for your
research. Under that, you are going to write at least 200 words that address the content of the
source, and how this source will help you make your argument. You can include more
information that you think is necessary. Remember, this is a tool to help you create your

welcome to use whatever style guide you are most comfortable with, but people be consistent in
your formatting and style.
