You will present a pre-recorded Powerpoint Presentation on the reading you are assigned in the Presentation Assignment page (see next page). You will still read and do a reflection on the reading assignment, but you will also make an oral presentation on your assigned reading.
Format: You must record your presentation using Powerpoint. Your Powerpoint Presentation must be no longer than 5-6 minutes in length, so please practice it several times to make sure you have the timing down. I will stop it if you go over 6 minutes, and that can affect your presentation grade.
Content: You should include a summary of the article, making sure to hit on the important points. Then you should discuss the implications of this article for the progression of ideas that led to psychology (how does this relate to psychology?). You may also use your answers to the Reflection Assignment Prompts to add relevant content to your presentation.
Presentation: I will play your presentation in class on the date in the syllabus before we discuss your Group Reading for the week. Then you will be expected to answer questions to the best of your ability.
Grading: You will be graded on the content, presentation style and clarity, and ability to answer questions.
What I need done is a very simple powerpoint made for the article and the person it represents. there shouldn’t be words really on it just maybe key points if necessary but pictures would be good. no outside sources just what i provide you. and a script because i will need to do a voice over for the powerpoint. it should be for no more than 5 minutes. please use powerpoint to make the slides. also include a breakdown for me to let me know what the article is about.
