Read and Complete both the Leadership Compass Self-Assessment (PDF) as well as The Personality Assessment Worksheets (PDF). Once you discover your PRIMARY leadership direction, please complete and submit a 750 word, single spaced reflection (paragraph form) that answers the following questions:
What are the strengths of your style, and which ones resonate with you the most about yourself?
If you found that you have a secondary direction (North-West, South-East, etc.), how do you feel it interacts with your primary direction?
What are the limitations of your style and which ones do you feel specifically apply to you?
What style do you find most difficult to work with and why?
What do people from other “directions” or styles need to know about you so that you can work together effectively?
What do you value about the other three styles?
How will you apply this knowledge of both your primary and secondary direction (if you discovered one) in your professional lives (currently and in the future?
I am looking for clear, well thought out answers that demonstrate that you connected with the material in a way that is translatable to others. I am not looking for you to summarize your primary direction; rather, I would like for you to take this opportunity to look for examples in your professional interactions that reflect this primary style and tie them to the direction appropriately.
You will be graded according to how well you answer the questions above as well as the reflection rubric available in the assignment section.
