Reflect on Sections 1-4 of your ISL and your TIAI unit and determine how your responses will impact learning for the students in our Virtual Classroom. Pay careful attention to organization and writing. Specifically, address the following:
What aspect(s) of your Section 1-Contexual Factors would you change to represent the students in your Virtual Classroom? Why? Use specific examples.
Select a learning objective from Section 2 with which the students in your Virtual Classroom would be most successful. Provide two or more possible reasons for this success. Your response should demonstrate the connection between learning objectives and students’ backgrounds.
Explain whether or not your assessment plan in Section 3 would allow you to determine if the students have met all of learning objectives in Section 2. Why or why not? Make connections between specific objectives and specific assessments.
Based on your design for instruction in Section 4, identify 1 student in your Virtual Classroom for whom most of the activities would lead to accomplishment of the learning objectives and identify 1 student for whom most of the activities would not lead to the accomplishment of the learning objectives. Identify the students by name and justify your selections. Include specific examples that connect the student with specific activities.
Review your TIAI unit. Select 1 lesson from your unit. Explain whether or not that lesson will lead to the accomplishment of the intended objective. Additionally, explain if the lesson’s assessment is appropriate. Justify your explanations.
Revise your ISL –Sections 1-4 to meet the specific needs of the students in your Virtual Classroom. Leave your original ISL intact. Highlight your revisions and add them directly after the original sections. Thus, for Section 1, you will have the original work then you will add the revised Section 1 before moving on to the rest of the sections.
Submit your revised ISL Sections 1-4 along with your reflections to the above prompts.
