classmates examplesBeside the Ethics, one topic that garbed my attention in chapter 4 was ” Responsibility of Employees”, which is very important part of a business. according to book, ” mutual respect towards employees can make a huge difference to a company’s profits”. From my previous experience with working in two company Brose and Golde, I can say that if employees get an environment where they can work independently and get respect then they’ll try their best to make the company’s well. At Brose, from the IT engineer to a normal employee everyone get treated equally or fairly, the employees work very carefully and they try not to make any mistakes. Since, the HR or the managers were so nice and respected me, I tried my best to build more product everyday, every worker do the same as well. On the other hand, at Golde, I felt like I didn’t get treated fairly, every time I tried to work hard and stay, the unsatisfied environment stopped me from doing that. After few days, the CEO of the company ha visited the company, and his ethical behavior changed everything, he talked to every worker with respect and appreciated their hard work, therefore, everyone started working more fast to build more product. It is a company’s responsibility to make sure that every employees are happy with their positions and are getting treated fairly. The book stated that ” if a business want to grow, it is their responsibility to create jobs and see that the hard work and talents are fairly rewarded.” Behind a business’s success, they have so much effort, therefore, the business also should treat them good and respect them.
