Search the internet for nursing ePortfolio examples. This will provide you with an understanding of how an ePortfolio is laid out and what typically goes into them.
Task 1 – Create a home page for your ePortfolio that provides some basic information about yourself and your project.
Add a page for each of your major components of your project. For example:
Literature review
Gap analysis
Project charter and scope
Implementation plan
Cost-benefit analysis
Risk management plan
Practicum project proposal
Provide a brief description of each component on its page explaining their relevance to the project and the work you did on it. Provide some general context as to where and how it fits in with project, as well as its relevance to the project. Including pictures or images is encouraged as long as they enhance and don’t take away from the focus on your project.
Note: Remember, before you add your Practicum Project Proposal to the ePortfolio, incorporate the feedback from your instructor from NSG/516AD. You also may include any pertinent additional documents you created as artifacts in the ePortfolio.
Be sure to make your portfolio and all documents uploaded to it from your Google Drive public!
If the documents are not public in your Google Drive they will not show up in your portfolio.
Share the link to your ePortfolio with your faculty. To do this, you must first set your sharing permissions. You can set up most of the sharing privileges when you create a new site, and you can change them at any time. You may want to start by not sharing it with anyone while you’re creating the site and then allow people to view the site after you finish it.
When you’re ready to share your e-Portfolio, do the following:
In the upper right, click Share with Others.
Under Links select change.
Ensure Public is selected on the Published Site section for the ePortfolio.
Save by clicking Done.
Task 2 – Current Status of Project
Write a 175-word summary of your project’s current status. Provide details on what still needs to be completed and identify any barriers that are interfering with the project’s completion.
