Here are a few situations that I would like for you to consider in the broader discussion of “children going unschooled”.

A 40 year old divorced woman wins full custody of her two kids and takes her life savings and purchases a Big Truck and an RV to fulfill her dream of traveling the country. Her two boys, aged 6 and 7 seem to be well adjusted in being home schooled as the mother is a brilliant executive for a tech company. They use many different methods of learning as well as AI and perform well on standard tests.

A different 40 year old mother has a little girl with a musician father that likes to travel the world. The situation is a split custody situation where the mom has traveled the world with the father for the sake of the child but has no romantic feelings towards him. She has her own romantic partners in the places that they travel. As a family, in split households, they’ve lived in places like Mexico, New Zealand, Montreal, and Los Angeles “together”.

The children are polite and well adjusted. They play, they’re curious about the world. They are well behaved. Their parents like to travel…
