Critically analyse the company’s current business-level competitive strategy using either Porter’s Competitive Generic Strategy framework OR Miles and Snow Strategy typologies to determine how the company achieves competitive advantage. Based on your analysis make a recommendation for a future competitive strategy the company should pursue at the business-level. Justify your recommendation with scholarly and business insights

Criteria 2

Propose ONE new strategic initiative for the organisation to implement in a that focuses on immediate outcomes in the near future. This initiative must address the organisations immediate business needs and challenges arising from the SWOT analysis. Explain in detail the features of the strategic initiative and justify why it is strategic. Apply your analysis using the Ansoff Growth Matrix to identify potential growth opportunities. Justify your analysis with scholarly and business insights.

Utilising the SAFE evaluation criteria in Whittington (2020, Table 12.1) evaluate your new strategic initiative. Provide examples for each of SAFE criteria that are substantiated with scholarly and business insights and citations. When evaluating your proposed initiative consider the overall strategic position of the organisation.

Future Directions: International strategy. Assess the future international strategy for the case-study organisation. Apply the International Strategies Framework (in Whittington et al., 2020, Ch.9, Figure 9.4, pg.281) to analyse and recommend what future direction to take.
