Students will write a research paper about the use of Scripture in the church’s ongoing work of proclaiming, in word and deed, the saving significance of Jesus Christ. As such, your paper should be integrative, engaging the question of what it means to interpret the Bible well alongside the question of what it means to do the work of mission and ministry in the world today. As Karl Barth once said, “Take your Bible and take your newspaper, and read both.”

Must build upon your essay plan and the corrections and revisions you have made to the plan.
Must use more than 10 scholarly sources (see 3 above for criteria).
