The essay has to show that Postcolonial literature is not simply an artistic endeavor, but that it is shaped by the need to communicate the voice of minorities in our culture and society, and how a postcolonial writer engages with this aim.
The literary text I would like to use for this purpose is ‘Listen Mr Oxford Don’ by John Agard.
The essay has to refer to one literary text and use at least 2 secondary, critical essays or articles. I’ve attached a few documents that might be helpful.
