The National Debt Ceiling is an ongoing issue for the United States. In your paper, addresses the following topics below:
What is the debt ceiling exactly and how does it affect the U.S. economy? Be sure to cite your sources as required.
Discuss 1 option currently being debated by our leaders to deal with the debt ceiling crisis and tell me whether you agree with the option or not and why.
Paper Requirements:
This assignment is worth 50 points total.
Paper should be at least 2 full pages and no longer than 3 full pages, not including the works cited page. This means that it should fill a minimum of 2 pages and no more than 3 full pages. Papers that are short of the minimum or longer than the maximum with have 10 points deducted.
Your paper should have a minimum of 2 sources. Your text book may not be included as required source (that is you can use your textbook, but you must have at least 2 other outside sources). Papers without a minimum of 2 sources will have 10 points minimum deducted.
Papers must use the MLA Style Guide for both in-text citations and the works cited page.
Papers may only include 1 direct quote. Papers with more than 1 direct quote will lose 5 points per extra direct quotes. If you have questions about what makes up a direct quote, please send me a course message.
DO NOT use Wikipedia as a source. 25 points will be deleted for using Wikipedia.
Posts without a works cited page will lose 30 points for this assignment. Papers that only include web URLs and no other information will lose 25 points.
