The Position Paper must consist of a 2 page essay responding to a particular subject (example: Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights) and explaining its impact in the student’s life. The appropriate use of at least two (2) references is required to be cited in the text of the essay to support the position of the student. Acceptable references may be obtained from the assigned textbook, related U.S. Supreme Court decisions, district/state level court cases, law journals or articles, newspaper and magazine articles.
