Hi I wrote that one just i need you to edit my mistake. you can change or edit or add and whatever you like thank you 1 page is enough
this is the Qorikancha in Cuzco, Peru. In Quechua, the language of the Inca, Qorikancha means “Golden House”, and it was the Temple of the Sun, the heart of the Inca Empire. You are looking at the famous curved wall, which is almost all that remains of the original temple after the Spanish tore it down and built their Baroque church on top.
More information on the Qorikancha. (Links to an external site.)
Gardner’s Art Through the Ages closes the chapter on the Baroque with this quote:
” The churches of New Spain are eloquent symbols of the triumph of Christianity, and specifically the Catholic Church, in the Western Hemisphere, and, more generally, of the subjugation of the native populations and their cultural values by the kings of Spain and their armies, priests, and artists.” p. 608
Goal
Explain how artists use their skills and modes of expression to reflect the world in which they live (or have lived) in order to deduce a subjective understanding of art work.

How do you feel about the quote from you textbook?
Find and embed an image of an artwork from a non-Western culture that had been colonized. Images of the colonization process are okay, but I am really interested in seeing some artworks from the cultures that had been colonized, in other words, non-Western art.
Cite the source of your image by inserting a link.
Briefly discuss the artwork – what is it? What is the culture? What do you think about it?
Cite the source of your information by inserting a link.

This is the famous Aztec Sun Stone, found in the ruins of the Templo Mayor in Tenochtitlán, the capital of the Aztec empire which is now Mexico City. It now resides in the Museo Nacional Antropología. (Please note that this is not Mayan, nor is it a calendar. You need to be careful of your sources when you research images.) Also, you may not use this image.
