Remote Learning Adaptations
It’s important for educators to remain adaptive in response to the changing education climate and the specific needs of students during social crises. In the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic, pivoting to remote learning has become the norm and educators have had to modify lesson content and delivery accordingly. I am interested to know how you would adapt your lesson to accommodate students designated for 100% remote or blended learning. To this end, how would you modify your lesson plan to teach the skill/concept in a way that translates via digital lesson delivery? You are not submitting a lesson plan but a narrative reflection of the main components of your lesson, warm up, anticipatory set, direct instruction, guided practice, independent activity, summaries, assessments, and differentiation, and how you would adjust your delivery to ensure your students can continue to progress towards standards-based physical literacy. Please be sure to include ideas about learning platforms, restructuring of lesson format, assessment tools, and means of communication with families. Additionally, feel free to include some of the challenges that this shift might cause and how you would adjust your pedagogy to accommodate those challenges.
( the lesson I did was soccer passing for 3rd grade students which include 3 English language learners)
