Implementing an Efficient Returns Processing System: Automating the returns processing system can improve the accuracy and speed of returns handling and reduce the risk of errors.
Working with a Third-Party Logistics Provider: Using a third-party logistics provider can help to manage the logistics of returns and reduce the burden on a company’s own resources.
Product Recycling and Disposal: Implementing a product recycling and disposal program can help to reduce the environmental impact of returns and also provide financial benefits through the recovery of materials.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is an agency within the US Department of Defense (DoD) that is responsible for providing logistical support to the military. DLA is responsible for managing the entire spectrum of logistics functions for DoD including procurement, storage warehousing, transportation, distribution, inspection/testing/acceptance, cataloging, standardization services, materiel disposition/disposal, quality assurance/certification/traceability, research & development support, energy conservation initiatives. Additionally, DLA provides technical assistance to mission planners regarding material requirements across geographies where U.S. forces are deployed.
