Personality Assessment is used in many different ways in practice today. In the clinic it is often used to better understand an individual’s unique identity within standardized guidelines. In the corporate world, such assessments are commonly used to assist in determining an individual’s potential as an employee. Industries such as law enforcement and the Power Industry (Power Plants) have required psychological personality assessment for many years.
In your research this week, explore the various areas, both in the clinical world and the corporate world, where personality assessment is utilized. Explore the primary types of personality assessment – Criterion Reference-Based Assessments and Trait-Based Assessments.
