Why are communities so attached to historical sites? Not only do countries, cities, etc, make thier living around some historical attractions, others are tearing down existing structures (history) in leu of building new…. One example that comes to mind is Las Vegas… developers are continually tearing down old, historical buildings (casinos) and replacing for new, modern structures. Help me understand what you think of historical versus state of the art, not only casinos, but other historical structures, or disaster concequences (such as the world trade center). Share you thoughts, and comment on others.
