Worksheet on Developmental Theories – Psychoanalytic
This Worksheet provides an overview of the Psychoanalytic developmental theories as applied to each life-span stage. As you describe application to a life-span stage, the key is to identify examples of how a person in that life-span stage would exhibit that theory. The answers will probably not be in black and white in your course textbook. Instead, you will need to take the general concept of the theory and identify how that looks in each life-span stage. Each lifefespan stage should be given its own application – it will not count to say “same thing” for multiple stages. Points will be awarded as:
Each “a.” = 10 points.
All other letters = 2 points each.
Total Possible Points = 44
Note: No answer for an item = zero points for that item. An answer copied from a previous stage for that theory – zero points for that item.
