Discuss: Reverse-Engineer Requirements

For our Discussion Board work, choose a mobile app or website that you would like to analyze over the term. You will “reverse-engineer” the application using our weekly topics.

Primary Post: Pick an app/website are you choosing to analyze? For this post, select one page of the app/website, screenshot and attach that page and identify 3 functional requirements for this app. What is the product behind the website? Is it part of a product line?

Let’s practice using the language your textbook offers: “The product shall {functional requirement}.”

Secondary Posts (at minimum 2) – by the end of Sunday – Extend the conversation by distinguishing the types of requirements offered in the primary post and their contribution/value.

Discuss: Modeling Data Requirements

Below I list a few products and choose one. For the product, you choose, address the following:

• What data do you imagine to be a necessary input for the product you chose?
• What data do you imagine to be a necessary output for the product you chose?
• Given the input and output data, what data modeling method do you recommend?
