1. Which parts of the research article were the easiest to read and comprehend? Which parts were the most difficult?

In my opinion, the abstract and introduction were the easiest part of the research article to read and comprehend. The abstract provided the reader with a general overview about the research article and the introduction also provided somewhat of an overview, introducing us for what is coming. The most difficult part for me was the methods and data analysis portion because I felt like there was too much going on. I had to read it multiple times to truly understand what was done.

2. How might you change your own interactions with colleagues based on your experience with the escape room? Interactions with leadership?

My experience with the escape room taught me that having great communication skills is key and working with one another is crucial as well. I have always been the type of person that is to myself, but this taught me to be more open with people around me and working together will help us in general. It is important to give every person around you the chance to share their thoughts and contribute as well. As for leadership interactions, there needs to be certain people that can set guidelines and clear instructions for people to follow. This will allow people around to feel more comfortable to get help when needed.

3. What additional individual or organizational-level implications from the article would you highlight? What action would you take with each?

As far as additional individual or organizational-level implications, I would highlight the fact that we would need more training and more like a continuous training method. I would also encourage a team activity where people are grouped together and that can be their cooperative time with one another.

1. Which parts of the research article were the easiest to read and comprehend? Which parts were the most difficult?

The easiest part of the article for me to read was the introduction and the summary. These sections gave a straightforward explanation of the problem and results, making it easy to follow without getting too detailed or complicated. The most difficult part to read was the results part because it had tables filled with data and numbers. Understanding the tables was hard because it took more time to figure out what the tables were saying, unlike the other parts of the article that were easier to read and explained things more clearly.

2. How might you change your own interactions with colleagues based on your experience with the escape room? Interactions with leadership?

The escape room showed me how important quick thinking and problem-solving are. In a real work setting, I would focus on better communication and teamwork with colleagues, as these skills are needed when solving problems together. When it comes to interactions with leadership, the escape room did not change anything for me, but suggesting ideas to leadership would be something to do to improve team work so it would benefit the workplace.

3. What additional individual or organizational-level implications from the article would you highlight? What action would you take with each?

The article highlights that organizational factors, such as high nurse-patient ratios play a big role in causing burnout (Jun et al., 2021). This shows that we need to make changes to improve the work environment. I would suggest pushing for changes in policies that focus on staffing and working conditions. This could mean sharing information with leaders about how better nurse-patient ratios can make nurses happier and improve patient care. Also, starting wellness programs and support systems for nurses can help reduce burnout and boost morale in the workplace (Jun et al., 2021).
