When creating rules and routines, consider the specific developmental stages of each age group. Your selections should be based on the developmental milestones for each age/grade. In each of your communications to families include the following for each age/grade:
Minimum of 2-3 developmentally appropriate classroom rules that would foster a positive classroom environment
At least 2-3 developmentally appropriate classroom routines that support positive behaviors and classroom transitions
How you will collaborate with families, learners, and colleagues (resource teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologist, etc.) to support a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
