Talk about how the airline industry awareness of the Marketing enviroment and how
it has grown over time and how it plans to become more enviromentally friendly in
the future. Talk about the strategies used and implemented by airlines to improve
there overall contribution to the enviroment. By their use of sustainable airline fuels
such as biofuel which use stump and branches leftover after a timber harvest as well as more efficient engines that require less fuel to travel farther distances to reduce
airlines carbon footprint. Next, making quieter engines to improve the noise pollution of airplanes and their public relations with the sorrounding communities of the
airports. Lastly, using more eco-friendly practices such as recycling and waste
management which helps the community as well as the company image. Which in
turn drives up sales for the airlines and make customers happy.

In this activity, you will create a presentation on Safety Management Systems (SMS). Explore the Library,
the internet, or the FAA website for material related to SMS. The goal
of your presentation is to effectively implement and manage risk in
aviation maintenance.
Based on your readings and research conducted, prepare 10 slides (not
including the title slide and reference slide) with bullet points and
explanations in the note sections. Be creative, and think about how you
can incorporate visual aids to add to your presentation. In your
presentation, address the following:
What are the ideology and fundamentals of SMS?
How do you implement a SMS?
What are the main components of an SMS?
What are the four pillars of safety within SMS?
What is the SMS decision process?
What is the SMS regulatory requirement in aviation?
Support your conclusions with a minimum of four or more
references. Your submission is expected to be grammatically sound, free
of spelling errors and formatted according to current edition of the
American Psychological Association (APA). The uploaded file should
contain your last name and activity number.

You must include at least two primary and two secondary sources.
Research Question, Thesis Statement, and Paper – You will
develop a six to eight-page (current APA Style) research paper. Develop your
topic into one clear concise research question and create a thesis statement.
Compile your (one) question, thesis statement, and research into a written four
to six-page written paper. You must also include a title-page and
reference-page for a total of six to eight-pages. You can write from any
perspective or lens that interests you: historical, scientific, technological,
engineering, or mathematical. This research paper must include the following
elements:
Title-page
Body (four to six pages)
Introduction – Tells the reader what you are going to write
about and includes your thesis statement. Be sure to make it interesting so the
reader will want to continue and read the rest of your work.
Body of the Paper – Goes through each point you want to
illustrate by providing your ideas and your research about the topic. Be sure
you write an opening sentence for each paragraph that will draw your reader
into your idea or point.
Conclusion/Summary – Reminds the reader what you wrote about
in your work. It is similar to the introduction but with a concluding
statement.
Reference-page
I will include 4 files to give you sources to use. A mandatory reference that must be used is: Milbrooke, A. (2006). Aviation History. Jeppesen Sanderson.
The style and Format is APA 7th edition.

Read Contribution of Flight Systems to Performance-Based Navigation (Boeing.com), (Links to an external site.) which details the role an FMS provides for accurate navigation of the aircraft through the National Air Space (NAS). Prepare a case analysis addressing the factors surrounding the different contributions an FMS makes to assist with navigation and what, if any, impact on safety they provide to the overall safe operation of the aircraft.
View the evaluation rubric below for grading guidelines, and refer to How to Write a Case Analysis for more details.
Your paper will automatically be evaluated through Turnitin when you submit your assignment in this activity. Turnitin is a service that checks your work for improper citation or potential plagiarism by comparing it against a database of web pages, student papers, and articles from academic books and publications.
Research and analyze using scholarly resources.
Length/format: 1-2 pages (excluding references), APA format.

The ability to convey information, both orally and in writing, is a necessary skill for today’s workforce. In this activity, you will present your research findings. Your presentation must include a minimum of six slides but no more than eight. It must have embedded audio and include speaker notes.
Keep in mind that as a minimum your presentation must:
Identify your research problem (with appropriate support).
Explain why the problem is relevant.
Identify the data you analyzed and what the results of that analysis revealed.
Justify your recommendation.
Include a reference slide.
Feel use pictures in slides
I have attached the research paper as a file to give you all the information you need to complete the slides and speaker notes and the same references needed.

Instructions:
Using Chapters 16 & 17 of the attached resource material(s), write a discussion post that answers the questions in both of the of the scenarios below.
The information should be properly cited and referenced using the APA 7th edition and the information presented must be evident in the cited and referenced material.
Writing criteria:
The discussion posts should demonstrate analysis; interpretation and/or application of the resource material. This should not be an opinion and be based on the attached material.
Mechanics of style should enhance content understanding and writing skillfully supports the message and is in required format. Citations and references present and in accordance with APA 7th edition.
Scenario 1
A secretary employed by a U.S. aircraft dealership regularly works 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The secretary’s duties include completing all of the forms needed to close aircraft sales and to be present during closings to type up any changes that may arise. Sometimes, closings are not completed until after 5 pm or, for Friday closings, until sometime on Saturday. When that happens, the secretary is allowed to come to work later the following workday morning to compensate for having worked overtime to help finish closing the sale.
Is the employer in compliance with the law? Explain.
If this is a violation, what are the possible consequences to the employer?
Scenario 2
South Carolina is an employment-at-will state. Management of an aerospace manufacturing plant located there learns the identities of a half-dozen of the company’s machinists who are surreptitiously circulating authorization cards among their co-workers in an effort to become represented by a union.
Is the company running any legal risks if it fires those employees without stating a reason for their discharge? Explain.
