You are preparing data for visualization to complete an important project for a client. Your manager will be the one presenting to the client. Your manger is uncomfortable with the data because of the missing value treatment that you have recommended. In order to complete the project on time and to everyone’s satisfaction you need to convince your manager that you are taking the correct approach to dealing with the missing values. To convince your manager, you decide to create a training presentation where you will teach your manager (1) the various types of missing data, (2) different approaches for dealing with missing data and why each approach would be used, (3) implications of not addressing the missing values when the visualizations are created in Tableau, (4) your recommendations for treating the missing values in this project. Instructions:
Part 1: Prepare a presentation (5-12 slides) explaining the statistical foundations for missing value treatment and their practical application.Missing values are a common occurrence in real world data. There are different ways to handle missing values. It is important that your manager be able to convince the client that you have selected an appropriate method of dealing with the missing values in your client’s data. Your task is to effectively train your manager with the information they need so that they both understand regarding missing values and can effectively communicate with the client on this topic.
With this end in mind, develop a presentation using all of the techniques and skills that you have learned.
Part 2: Data Diagnosis.Examine the 4 files: sales_example_1.xlxs, sales_example_2.xlxs, sales_example_3.xlxs, sales_example_4.xlxs, and determine:
(1) the extent of the missing data (what is missing?)
(2) cause or correlation related to missing data (when/why is the data missing?)
(3) recommendation to address the missing data For this (Missing Data Treatments) assignment be sure to include: proper documentation (citations, use of AI, etc.) and your submission should include a Word doc, the presentation (.pptx), and tableau file (.twbx)
