In this assignment, you will create a design brief for a dashboard.
This dashboard should solve a problem for one or more users. You must find a problem yourself from areas such as (but not limited to):
your personal life,
hobbies and interests,
your work,
public service or needs (charity, society, government etc).
Your dashboard must be either:
entirely new with no other competitor
a substantial and practical improvement on an existing dashboard or data visualisation
Design Brief
Word Limit: 1500 words excluding tables, references, captions etc. Expected range of 1000-1500 words.
The design brief must include:
statement of problem
objectives of the dashboard
identification and description of audience
description of necessary data/data source
explanation of necessary affordances/features
draft design/layout (static wireframe mock-up, using a prototyping tool of your choice)
