Education is arguably the most important social institution in our society; however, many people feel that the educational system is not functioning successfully when it comes to educating all of America’s citizens.
Focusing our attention on the K-12 public school system, it has worked successfully for some, while simultaneously working to the detriment of others.
Based on the material in the PowerPoints and reflecting back on your own educational experience as a resource, identify and describe in detail at least two issues within the American educational system discussed. Secondly, identify some possible solutions for the issues you have identified.
Additionally, wherever possible, draw on readings, and outside sources to assist in your analysis. Provide as much detail as possible to ensure your point of view is clarified.
Be sure to follow the prompt and answer questions fully. The length of the response is 1 – 2 pages typed and double spaced. If you use outside sources, use APA format and properly cite all outside sources. If outside sources are used, a reference page is necessary

I was born and raised in armenia where people have classes with the same classmates and teacher starting 1st grade until finishing the school. They also don’t have an option to choose their own classes. Class schedules are being provided each year and they follow the schedule. They don’t have an option to drop the class or not take the class.
