You want to format you essay according to MLAformat and academic standards (see Considerations below).ConsiderationsThe essay is 500 words not 5 paragraphs. Only use five paragraphs if necessary, or ifyou are still unclear regarding paragraph support of a thesis statement.
In addition, you need aseparate introductory paragraph and a separate concluding paragraph.Remember to include a strong, clear thesis statement as the last sentence of theintroductory paragraph.All paragraphs should begin with a topic sentence. This will determine what is includedin the paragraph.
The whole essay needs to be well developed, coherent, and unified.Your topic does not need to be serious. Yours may be fun or lighthearted.
