For this assignment, students will select a government or nonprofit organization

For this assignment, students will select a government or nonprofit organization and write a memorandum (1 page) discussing the need for improved ethics management in the organization (e.g., ethical training and decision making, code of ethics, ethics audit, ethics mission statement, etc.). The memo should incorporate topics and concepts from class material on ethics (with references and citations). The memo should also explain how and why improved ethics management is important to the mission and purpose of your specific organization. Please consult Writing Effective Memos and the memo sample on BlueLine for guidelines and format.
Each memo will also have an analysis attachment (1-2 pages). The analysis attachment provides additional support and clarification for the arguments made in the memo (e.g., references, footnotes, calculations, charts or tables, definitions, further explanations, etc.). Make sure that the analysis attachment is a professional document that supports and clarifies the analysis discussed in the memo.
*The analysis attachment for this assignment should include further explanation of ethics concepts and topics from class material, references, definitions, comparisons to other organizations and best practices, or examples.
