Identify at least (3) problems/or issues in the district in which you visit duri

Identify at least (3) problems/or issues in the district in which you visit during the ride-along. Depending on the issues/problems, classify them as a social, criminal or civil. Once the problems have been identified, implement an action plan to combat the issues or problems. Use the Rubric as a guide as to how to structure the paper and what to discuss in each section.
Student’s may utilize any of the research practices discussed during the course of the semester such as, problem-oriented policing, evidence-based policing, community policing, etc.
Depending on the responses received, use the information to shape your paper. For examples, if the officer states juvenile delinquency is a major problem in the area, then discuss said issue in your paper.
Discuss how you would collect information to inform yourself about the issue. In order to resolve or minimize the issues, what resources would you utilize? In the case of juveniles, you could reach out the the school and try to create an after-school program to provide students with activities that would occupy their time. Research programs that have been successfully in doing something similar, such as PAL. Create resolutions to the problems/issues and be creative in the action plan section of the paper.
When answering the questions, be sure to think critically and utilize peer-reviewed articles to support your responses.
