This portion of the activity is to help connect the IT history of Japan with its current needs by attempting to identify important technology-related goals that might be shaping current economic, government, or social efforts in Japan. Please write a report with 200-400 words that addresses the following:
1) Legislative/legal efforts to address social impact of information technology (infrastructure, data privacy, information restriction, etc.)
2) Any other information that provides insight into significant IT-related initiatives that will have a significant impact on Japan.
