My idea for the title is “Unmasking Educational Disparities: Investigating the Impact of Income Inequality on Disproportionate School Funding”
The paper needs to cover the differences in educational oppurtunities between “rich schools” and “poor schools” that result from the local property taxes. This paper is exclusively about the United States and cannot mention any other countries. The structure is outlined below and can be seen in the thesis.
The thesis is “Income inequality contributes significantly to the disparities in public school funding between wealthy and unprivileged neighborhoods by affecting students access to high quality classes and extracurricular activities, clarifying the effect local property taxes and the federal government have on school funding, and outlining the potential post-graduation outcomes for students in higher education and the workforce.”
The first section is about what kind of STEM oppurtunities are available to “rich schools” such as lab equipment or tech. That same section should also seperately cover how the arts can be affected such as the availability and quality of art classes available such as marching band, orchestra, choir, or computer graphic desgin class. That section should conclude by conveying the urgent need for targeted investments and policy interventions to ensure equitable access to high-quality education for all students, irrespective of their socioeconomic backgrounds.

The second section should dive into the sources of public school funding such as property taxes and state/government funding. The goal here is to understand how two schools, despite both being public schools, can be so different in terms of funding. This section surves to provide the data and outline the argument that there is currently an inequality in the public school system.
The third section should focus on the graduation outcomes students of students at rich schools compared to students from poor schools. Should easily answer the question “how does public high school funding affect the graduation rates, types of colleges, or occupations of students after they graduate?”
