Engaging in productive and equitable classroom discussions is essential to students development as a mathematician. Across our work together, we have (and will) develop our ability to plan for and facilitate mathematical discussion, with a focus on eliciting, orienting, and representing childrens thinking.
For this assignment, you will work in a small think-group and watch (several times) a pre-recorded video, , and writing prompts to engage in collaborative analysis and reflection. Here is a google doc that includes the details of this assignment. Please read it carefully first.
