Option A: Recall a character or a plot from a book you read, and write a paragraph describing what made them memorable. What was the most interesting aspect of the plot or the character? What do you remember most? How can you use it in your writing?
Option B: Think about a hero/role model from your personal background or the culture you are coming from, and write a paragraph describing what made them a hero. What characteristics did you admire? How would you use it in your writing if you were to write a novel?
